The scared Valley of Tsum is located in the
northern part of the Gorkha district. The Tsum Valley is rich in ancient art,
culture, religion, and of course nature. Here Tibetan origin people speak
their own language. As the Tsum Valley is rich in Buddhist culture and
tradition, we get an opportunity to visit some of the beautiful old Buddhist
monasteries such as Mu Gompa and Rachen Gompa. We trek through picturesque
villages and see hundreds of Buddhist Stupas along the trail.
This isolated Himalayan valley is an untouched beauty of nature and culture and
offers a much more enjoyable Trekking Experience. More and more people are
interested to explore this magnificent valley and enjoy a spectacular view of
the landscape and snowcapped Himalayan Peaks. But still, the valley is not as
exposed as other trekking destinations. Therefore, the area is still less
crowded and noncommercial. So, if you are interested and looking for a less
busy trekking destination in the Himalayas, Tsum Valley will be the perfect one.
